BRISBANE AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Rory and Will started shooting aerials over a decade ago. Will built and flew RC helicopters with a camera hanging underneath before drones were a thing. Now we utilise the latest tech to provide world-class aerials from both drone and helicopter.

 

Aerial photography presents additional challenges to ground photography. The weather has a greater impact than when shooting ground photos. Airspace clearance and shorter shoot windows also make nailing a shoot's timing even more important.

Drone photos allow us to capture the all-important elevated "Hero" shots along with a variety of aerial imagery that helps showcase the full site and its relationship to its immediate vicinity.

Helicopter photos are still the grand-daddy of aerial photography. We can operate as high as necessary up to 8000ft to capture vast expanses and communicate connections that cannot be clearly seen from the lower legal max height of drones (400ft). Helicopters also allow us to capture aerial photos in airspace drone operations are restricted, like around airports and in populous areas.
